I have taught English both online, here in the USA, to Kiev, Ukraine and in the classroom, in Iran and India. That’s a lot of experience which leads to a lot of learning on my part; learning to be receptive and sensitive to a student’s needs, to listen and be supportive, and to maintain a sense of humor!

I experience genuine satisfaction in helping others to express themselves simply, clearly and evocatively.

I was educated in the UK where I attended the University of  North Staffordshire and the University of Bath. Even though my main area of study was electronics and high vacuum physics, I could never abandon my true love of English and communication.
